Experience the Magic of Osaka Universal Studios with the $1,200 VIP Guided Tour!
Unlike other Universal Studios, Universal Studios Osaka has purchased the copyrights of many local Japanese anime and manga productions, created related rides and performances, and launched seasonal products each year that are the park’s biggest attraction for tourists from around the world.
Are you considering whether the $1,200 Osaka Universal Studios VIP guided tour is worth it? Look no further! Compared to Universal Studios in Los Angeles, Osaka Universal offers a unique experience with its Japanese anime rides and themed restaurants. From the spy family-themed project Jujutsu Kaisen to the One Piece show at Water World, you’ll be immersed in a two-dimensional dream world that’s sure to leave you in awe. With the recent opening of Nintendo World, the park has seen an increase in visitors, resulting in ridiculously long wait times during peak periods, especially during the holidays.
We booked the 5-hour private customized itinerary for 2 adults and 2 kids for $1,200 (excluding tickets and shopping).
-How to book?
Simply visit use the agents on the official website, to select a time slot while booking the tour. While prices may vary daily and cancellations may incur a fee, paying attention to the details will ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
The English-speaking tour guides are limited, so remember to contact the Universal Studios Service Center in advance to confirm information when making your reservation.
-The Day
We arrive at the Customer Service Center half an hour before the scheduled time, where a lounge is set up for all VIP customers. Inside the lounge, your dedicated guide will create a customized itinerary based on your needs, including routes, restaurants, and other personalized services to ensure there is no waiting in line. Your personal tour guide will be with you the entire time to organize your trip. Remember to communicate with them about your needs.
The whole trip was very smooth, our kids were relatively young and didn’t have much to choose from, if your kids are a bit older there are more things to do.
Nothing is perfect, there are no golf cars at Universal Studio Osaka, so it doesn’t matter if you take eight hours or five hours, you can only walk. I think there are special arrangements for the elderly and disabled.
Unlike the Express and Group VIP, there is a special entrance for private accommodation. I also learned that the popular rides all have elevators at the back door that go directly to the ride. No waiting at all! My son played Mario Kart four times until I threw up. Our 3-year-old daughter is not big enough to play Mario Kart, but she had a great time meeting her favorite character, Peach.
— Evaluation
In my opinion, it is very worthwhile and is a good value for money. If you are short on time and want to have a good time, or if you are traveling with elderly people or children, I highly recommend it.
